In May 2016, Brooklyn Borough President formally endorsed BK Style
Foundation/Fashion Week Brooklyn as The Official Fashion Week of the borough,
with a proclamation.
May 6th was proclaimed BK Style Day - Recognized as Brooklyn's premiere fashion event by the Brooklyn Borough President (Eric Adams), Adams’ vast philanthropic efforts and passion for Brooklyn, ensures that the fashion and cultural arts communities will continue to flourish. BK|SF is poised to continue it creative journey with the Brooklyn Borough President office under Adams's vision and leadership.
